After just five days on the market, Meghan Markle's former house in Toronto has already sold.
The Duchess of Sussex had rented the two-story house with her two dogs while filming Suits from 2011 to 2017 – and through the early days of dating Prince Harry, who would often visit her home in secret, according to Realtor.com.
Harry even mentions Meghan's Toronto house in his autobiography Spare. “Meg was excited to show me her life, her dogs, her little house, which she adored,” he wrote. "And I was eager to see it all, to know every last detail about her."
Meghan lived in the house until the couple made their engagement official in November of 2017. It then sold swiftly after in December, for 1.4M Canadian dollars (about £786,000). Her next home was Kensington Palace. Now, since August 24th 2024, almost seven years later, the Toronto house has sold for 1.9M Canadian dollars (about £1.1 million).

Other homes in the neighbourhood are averaging $2.5 million, making this sale rather affordable in comparison. The houses in this area also tend to spend at least 21 days on the market.

The front door is painted ‘Tiffany Blue’, overlooking the remodelled front porch.
The kitchen was also remodelled since the Duchess left in 2017. There's now a custom designed ‘chef’s eat-in kitchen'
The kitchen leads out to the back garden.
Towards the back of the garden, there's also a double-car garage off the laneway with a Tesla charger. The listing — which was held by Daniel Freeman of Freeman Realty — notes that this could potentially be converted into a 1,330-square-foot guest house.
