Join House & Garden and Viking, the award-winning river and ocean cruise line, for lunch at Beaverbrook country house hotel in Surrey on June 19, 12–3pm.
A Champagne reception in the Parrot Bar will be followed by a three-course lunch with wine and coffee in the hotel’s Anglo-Italian restaurant. Set in a 400-acre estate, the Grade II-listed neoclassical house was once owned by Lord Beaverbrook, who used it to host guests such as Winston Churchill and Elizabeth Taylor.
It has been given a new lease of life by Susie Atkinson, a House & Garden Top 100 Interior Designer. Tickets include a gift bag and entry to a prize draw to win a hamper courtesy of Viking and afternoon tea for two with Champagne at Beaverbrook. There is also the chance to have a short tour of the house and its grounds following lunch. A special rate of £350 per room per night is available for guests wishing to stay on June 18 or 19, based on two guests sharing a standard room.
Tickets for the lunch cost £65 per person, plus £5.66 booking fee. To book, visit po.st/HGVikinglunch
