1. Ann Getty
Ann Getty creates the most wonderful, over-the- top interiors. A favourite of mine is a room upholstered in peacock feathers, and I love this bathroom packed with prints. Ann Getty: Interior Style (Rizzoli, £35).
2. The Grand Budapest Hotel
I could watch The Grand Budapest Hotel on loop. I spent days downloading images to use as inspiration in my interior-design projects.
3. Makers House
Last year Burberry collaborated with The New Craftsmen on Makers House. It was total eye candy, with some unlikely revivals like patterned carpet on the stairs.
4. Bergdorf Goodman and Gucci
I worked at Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan in my youth. The store has so much nostalgia attached to it and all the extraordinary elegance of a bygone era. Gucci in Milan is another very special shop - it's a visual overload filled with clothes of such beauty (pictured).
5. Kathleen Cleaver
I recently visited the You Say You Want a Revolution? exhibition at the V&A with my daughters and we were blown away by the story of Kathleen Cleaver. She was the most incredible American activist with the Black Panther Party, who looked as if she'd been plucked from the pages of Vogue. She is now a professor of law.
6. Helen Frankenthaler
There's nothing I would like more than a painting by the remarkable Helen Frankenthaler.
7. My Bedroom Window
There is no better view than the one of my garden from my bedroom window in Shropshire.
