The woman behind the world's most Instagrammable interior

The Danish fashion designer turned decorator Marie-Anne Oudejans is the woman behind the design of arguably one of the most Instagrammable interiors in the world, the restaurant Bar Palladio in Jaipur - a gorgeous confection of a space that is two parts Mughal exhuberance, one part Danish cool, with a dash of Wes Anderson whimsy. Here she paints a picture of her life, work and inspirations

  • "One of my favourite rooms is the orange salon at the beautiful La Posta Vecchia Hotel outside Rome. It has an amazing atmosphere created just by using this deep colour on the walls and curtains."
