A stylist's edit of soft furnishings and bedding for children's rooms
I always think that choosing bedding, rugs and other fun bits for your child's room are some of the best parts. Unlike the wall colour, or picking out a bed, there is no real investment: neither time nor monetary. This offers freedom and the space to unleash your creativity.
With bedding, I like to pick a colour and then play with a combination of stripes, checks and florals. You needn't be afraid of mixing patterns as the base colour will keep everything cohesive, so match those checked pillows with those floral sheets! The same goes for soft furnishings; I really encourage you to play with textures and tonal colours to add visual interest.
