Everything we loved at LAPADA 2025
From October 28 to November 2, the LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair returns to its iconic Mayfair location. A highlight of the social calendar, it brings together over eighty distinguished exhibitors across the worlds of fine art, antiques, design and the decorative arts, inviting collectors and enthusiasts to experience exceptional creativity and discover the most exciting trends and talents in art, craft and collectible design.
LAPADA 2025 marks an exciting debut for Gladwell & Patterson which holds the distinction of being London’s oldest gallery; its showcase features fine oil and watercolour paintings. Renowned collective of high jewellery houses Haute Jewels also make their debut this year, partnering with the fair to present a gamut of glittering pearls and stones amongst the art and antiques.
This showcase also marks new beginnings for the Association itself: LAPADA 2025 is new CEO Elizabeth Shanks’s first at the helm. Under her leadership comes a revitalisation of the awards programme with a new name, LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair 2025 Excellence Awards, which continues to honour outstanding works of arts and design, as well as remarkable stands.
This year, contemporary applied arts and collectible design gallery Made In Britaly won the coveted Best Stand Award for their creative use of the tree that rose through the marquee around their stand. The Outstanding Object Award went the Astor Turquoise and Diamond Tiara, a rare piece circa 1930, by Cartier which was presented by the Jewellery Trading Room.
Renowned sculptor and LAPADA staple Paul Vanstone also received the Honorary Award for Sculpture with his exceptional Rose torso, made from Iranian onyx.
