Anam is an interior architecture and design studio, specialising in residential, hospitality and commercial interior projects, and furniture design. It is run by partners Liz Hughes and Alex Michell from their offices in Dublin and the South-East of England.Anam was born from the founders' mutual respect for natural materials, Nordic style and comfort, Irish craftsmanship and modernist architecture. ‘We started Anam to create something that had an honesty to it, a type of design that we both responded to. We wanted to create a company that reflected our own style— rather than fitting in, one that had its own identity.’Anam Design Studio's distinct, yet complementary, backgrounds in interior design, architecture and industrial design bring a unique focus to each project, while remaining sensitive to the client's aesthetic and practical requirements.
