About

At Arlo & Jacob, we do things the old-fashioned way—by hand. Every sofa, chair, footstool and accessory is made to last, crafted with care by a single pair of skilled hands in our Nottinghamshire factory. It’s also where our founders, Mark and Julie Smith, call home. They’re closely involved in the day-to-day, always thinking up new ways to better serve our loyal customers.

We’re a proudly British brand with 12 showrooms across the country. Our collection is beautifully diverse - some pieces lean into timeless tradition, others have a more contemporary edge - but all are made to order and can be tailored to suit your style.

Whether you’re after a sprawling corner sofa, a compact two-seater or something completely bespoke, the options are endless. Create a flexible layout with modular designs, adjust dimensions to fit your space, and choose your favourite fabric - from our curated House staples to luxurious designer weaves. Finish it all off with details like leg styles, cushion fillings and more, to make it truly your own.

We’re all about optionality because each design starts and ends with our customers in mind, crafting every element for peak functionality and comfort, with a healthy dash of style.
