About

A mother and daughter team, Bertioli is the sibling brand of Thyme. Inspired by nature, it designs simple, beautiful products for everyday living, that inspire a connection to the land and nourish both people and planet. Each pattern and scent is emblematic of the botanicals that flourish in Thyme's nature-rich habitats: the cutting gardens, water meadows, woodlands and kitchen gardens.

The Bertioli collections take direct inspiration from these places, and are designed to transport you there and celebrate the nature we cherish. Proudly part of ‘1% For The Planet’, Bertioli is committed to donating 1% of revenue to environmental causes.

What is your biggest source of inspiration?

"All of my designs for the Bertioli patterns take direct inspiration from the way botanicals grow. The collection celebrates the nature that I love as well as classic English Country House style."
- Caryn Hibbert

What makes your approach to design different?

"I have been fascinated by recent research that shows that visual and scent connections with nature can reduce stress, improve mood and elevate creativity. This has become a source of inspiration, creating spaces inherently designed to instil calm and happiness."

- Milly Hibbert
