About

With a studio and shop based in London’s Primrose Hill, Cave Interiors specialises in residential projects of varying sizes across the UK and overseas. Led by creative directors Georgina Cave and her daughter Anouska, the Cave philosophy goes deeper than layouts and colour schemes. With sustainability central to their approach, they create beautiful, stylish and functional homes that stay true to the architecture and the needs and personalities of their clients, whilst giving them the confidence to go the extra creative mile.

With the help of their team, they deliver spatial planning and end-to-end interior design services for old and new-build house projects, alongside some of the UK’s leading architects. This includes the complete renovation of historic and landmark listed buildings, a skillset the studio is particularly known for.

Their work also extends to a full kitchen design, manufacture and installation service, whether as part of a full house renovation or as a stand-alone project. As with their interior design projects, they consider both form and function with the client’s personal needs and preferred style in mind, resulting in each kitchen being as unique as the people they design them for.

How do you define your signature style?

“The interiors we create most often blend elements from traditional and modern aesthetics. They typically incorporate antique and/or vintage pieces, restored architectural details, and colourful palettes with a scattering of contemporary fixtures & fittings where focusing on functionality.”

What is your design ethos? What values are important to you in your work?

“Sustainability is at the core of what we do with preserving or restoring the original architecture uppermost in our minds. We love using antiques to add soul and character as well as a healthy dose of colour and pattern.”

In your opinion, what makes a design timeless?

“A healthy mixture of old and new, with a gentle yet colourful palette as a backdrop.”

Why do your clients come to you? What do they value about your work?

“We are known for creating warm and inviting homes that consider both form and function in equal measure. Critically, we are good listeners and help bring our clients' vision to life whilst pushing the boundaries wherever possible, resulting in bespoke interiors tailored to the client's needs and personal style.”

How do you stay inspired and keep evolving your ideas?

“Visiting historic houses is a particular passion as well as art galleries and museums. Film too is a great passion with plenty of inspirational architecture and interiors to absorb."
