About

Geek Vintique is an independent, boutique interior design consultancy creating beautiful spaces for homeowners in Twickenham, west London and beyond.

Founded in 2016 by Claire Botha, the business has been built on an ethos of deeply personal service coupled with distinctive creative flair.

Claire’s specialism is period properties, blending traditional architecture and heritage features with modern and contemporary furnishings to create homes that feel stylish yet effortlessly relaxed.

Following an early career in journalism and a series of personally-managed whole home renovations, Claire transitioned her career into interior design and project management. She brings her talent for storytelling into her interiors work today, layering colour, form and texture imbued with her clients’ personal style and narrative.

The name Geek Vintique reflects Claire’s passion for period architecture and preloved furniture & accessories - pieces with soul - underlining the joy that’s at the heart of her work.

Her philosophy is to treat each project with the same care as if it were her own home, offering in-person interior design & full project management services as well as tailored 1:1 Design Consultations for clients simply looking for inspiration and guidance to go it alone.

How do you define your signature style?

“Boldly elegant, with soul.”

What is your design ethos? What values are important to you in your work?

“My core value is to approach each decision as if it were my own home - is it practical, could I live with it - and to be personally invested in every detail. And also to deliver client-centred design that reflects personal stories, style, and history.”

Why do your clients come to you? What do they value about your work?

“Clients say that I truly care and I'm passionate about my work, that's my most commonly expressed feedback! And they like that I come up with ideas and suggestions that they would never have considered. I encourage clients to make brave decisions, as being bold always pays off.”
