Founded in 1999 by John Hetherington and Ben Newman, Hetherington Newman celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. The brand has grown out of a shared passion and expertise for creating premium quality, truly bespoke furniture, and architectural joinery. Inspired by the beauty and precision of historical detail and experienced in working with a wide range of materials and techniques, Hetherington Newman’s ethos is rooted in the belief that the products must stand the test of time, both structurally and aesthetically.Working closely with private clients, Architects and Interior Designers, the design teams led by Design Director Mike Fetherston, in London and Knutsford studios, have the creativity and expertise to translate their ideas into successful projects. When creating beautiful, practical, and lasting solutions, a sound knowledge of, and respect for materials, proportions and functionality are key, along with a fastidious attention to detail.
