About

Kristina Clode Garden Design is a multi-award-winning studio based near the historic town of Rye in East Sussex. Founded by Kristina in 2010, the studio has become renowned for creating visually stunning, wildlife-friendly landscapes. Kristina Clode Garden Design has been recognised with multiple accolades, including the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers’ Design for the Environment award in both 2021 and 2022, as well as the prestigious Judges Award in 2021. The studio has also been awarded a Sussex Heritage Trust Garden and Landscape Design Award for the last four consecutive years.

Our extensive portfolio spans from compact courtyard gardens to large country estates and public spaces, most recently the redesign of the historic Iris Garden at the National Trust’s Nunnington Hall in Yorkshire. As well as being a fully registered member of the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers, Kristina holds a master’s degree in Garden History and brings specialist expertise to heritage and restoration projects.

The studio offers a comprehensive design service. Clients are guided seamlessly from the initial consultation through to project completion. Each stage, from site analysis and concept development to detailed design specifications, planting plans, and project monitoring, is handled with meticulous attention to detail. We collaborate closely with trusted landscape contractors, specialist craftsmen, and nurseries to ensure every element is executed to the highest standard.
