About

Other Service Regions: East Midlands

Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Matthew Cox leapt into the world of decorative antiques and set up his business between west London and Stamford in 1997. Despite such an antiques pedigree, Matthew has always kept his approach fresh; challenging the established order and blurring the lines between antique and contemporary. His love of bold, spare, vernacular design informs his fascination for authentic surface and patina, and his 20-years handling original pieces led him to create both an original finish library and a collection of versatile made to measure pieces. Matthew’s eye for detail and his collaborative creative process have earned him the respect of many high-profile and exacting interior designers, commercial and private clients in the UK and all over the world.
