Maxlight was founded in late 2011 as an extension of ACFS (Culmax), a company with over 20 years of experience in structurally glazed designs and architectural fabrications. As demand grew for integrated sliding door solutions with minimal sightlines and superior engineering, Maxlight recognised the need to move beyond standard off-the-shelf systems common in the industry.To stand out, Maxlight designed its own bespoke sliding door system, creating custom profiles that combine sleek aesthetics with exceptional performance. This innovation led to the creation of the Maxlight brand, which quickly gained traction with architects, contractors, and homeowners.The company’s reputation rests on delivering maximum natural light through minimal sightlines, supported by outstanding design, fast lead times, and complete in-house control over manufacturing. By producing all components internally, Maxlight eliminates typical industry delays and maintains high quality and responsiveness.In addition, Maxlight developed its own installation teams, enabling full ownership of the customer journey from design and production through to installation. This approach ensures consistently high customer satisfaction, strong repeat business, and excellent reviews.Recently, Maxlight moved to a larger factory in North London on Western Avenue. Their new showroom overlooks the factory floor, allowing visitors to experience the entire product range and observe the development, testing, and manufacturing processes firsthand.
