About

In its 30th year, Neubauer Ennis Architects is focused on the creation of family homes. Neubauer Ennis has a reputation for designing thoughtful and enduring homes on coastal and mountain landscapes, which become the foundation for generations of memories and special moments for families and their loved ones.

Neubauer Ennis believes every building matters and that architecture matters to the family, the street, the community, and the region. The buildings they design emerge from their client’s family stories and the unique landscapes they are situated in.

Each project begins with deep conversations with their clients, a rigorous study of the unique site, including landscape and community context, and sharing inspiring images to create an overall shared vision of the end goal. Design begins with loose sketches and a free-flowing exchange of ideas, which is developed and supported by the technology that supports their creative process.

Every decision they make is to enable their buildings to endure. Neubauer Ennis builds for the centuries. To design these homes well, they build collaborative teams to support their clients, ranging from interior designers, landscape architects, contractors and builders, civil, structural, and mechanical engineers, envelope consultants, and lighting and technology designers and integrators.

The U.S. architecture studio has offices located in Falmouth and Duxbury Massachusetts, with projects on Cape Cod, the South Shore, Metro Boston, the Catskills, the Green Mountains and Wisconsin.
