Founded in 2003 the name ‘nkuku’ (nuh-ku-ku) was borrowed from a hut in Zambia and the first order was for exquisite leather journals that are still in their collection today. From homewares to textiles and furniture, the company's collections may have grown but it still has the same hands-on approach meeting and working with its suppliers to create timeless pieces for the whole home.Honouring traditional skills, the team works in collaboration with their makers to craft unique products made from natural, reclaimed and recycled materials.
