About

Poliform UK is the London-based subsidiary of Poliform, an internationally renowned Italian furniture brand celebrated for its sophisticated design, impeccable craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. Founded in Italy in 1970, Poliform has grown from a small artisan workshop into a global leader in contemporary furniture and integrated interior systems. Its commitment to quality, innovation, and design excellence has established the brand as a benchmark in the world of high-end living.

At its core, Poliform embraces a philosophy of refined minimalism, where function meets aesthetics in seamless harmony. The design language is rooted in clean lines, understated luxury, and an unwavering attention to detail. Every piece, from kitchens and wardrobes to modular systems and soft furnishings, is conceived with the modern lifestyle in mind, combining advanced technology with the artisanal heritage of Italian design.

Poliform UK, with showrooms in London's King's Road and Wigmore Street, brings this ethos to life in the heart of the capital. Through its showrooms, it offers clients a curated experience of Poliform’s full collections, from contemporary living and bedroom furniture to kitchens and walk-in wardrobes. Collaborations with leading architects and designers, including Jean-Marie Massaud and Marcel Wanders, further underscore the brand’s commitment to design innovation.

Whether working with private clients or industry professionals, Poliform UK provides a fully tailor-made service, supporting each project from concept to completion. The result is a harmonious balance of style, comfort, and functionality, interiors that are both contemporary and enduring, tailored to individual needs while reflecting a distinctly Italian sense of elegance.

What is your biggest source of inspiration?

"For George Khachfe, President of the Board at Poliform UK, the biggest source of inspiration lies in the intersection of architecture, lifestyle, and the evolving ways people live and interact with their homes. He is deeply inspired by the idea that with Poliform furniture, kitchens and systems, designers and architects can create spaces that are not only beautifully designed but also deeply personal and functional, places that reflect the individuality of their inhabitants while maintaining the refined elegance that defines Poliform.

Equally important is the inspiration that comes from collaboration: with visionary designers, architects, and clients. For Khachfe, each project is an opportunity to listen, interpret, and transform ideas into spaces that are both innovative and timeless. To bring a uniquely curated vision to the UK market: one that honours Italian craftsmanship while embracing the diverse needs and tastes of a cosmopolitan clientele."

What makes your approach to design different?

"Poliform collaborates with some of the world’s most acclaimed designers, such as Jean-Marie Massaud, Marcel Wanders and Emmanuel Gallina, ensuring each product reflects a deep understanding of contemporary living while maintaining a refined, architectural sensibility. The design language is minimalist yet warm, marked by clean lines, tactile materials, and a careful balance of form and function.

Unlike trend-driven brands, Poliform focuses on longevity: both in aesthetics and construction. Each piece is designed and manufactured in Poliform factories in Brianza, just north of Milan, using the finest materials and advanced production techniques, preserving the values of Italian craftsmanship while embracing technological innovation.

Ultimately, Poliform’s design difference lies in its ability to transform spaces into environments of effortless elegance, tailored precisely to the needs and tastes of the individual."

In your opinion, what makes a design timeless?

"From Poliform’s perspective, a timeless design is one that transcends trends and continues to resonate across generations. It is rooted in simplicity, balance, and proportion: elements that remain relevant regardless of changing tastes. Timelessness is not about being neutral or minimal for its own sake, but about achieving a sense of harmony where every detail serves a purpose and nothing is superfluous.

For Poliform, timeless design also means durability, both aesthetically and physically. It’s about selecting high-quality materials that age gracefully, combining them with expert craftsmanship and innovative production methods to create pieces that retain their beauty and integrity over time.

Emotional resonance plays a key role as well. A timeless piece should feel instantly familiar yet always contemporary, offering comfort, elegance, and functionality without compromise. By focusing on these enduring qualities, rather than short-lived fashion, Poliform creates interiors that evolve with the people who live in them , spaces that are not only beautiful today, but will continue to inspire for years to come."
